Volunteer Opportunities Abound at the
Texas Night Sky Festival

We are ready for volunteers to sign up for the 2nd Annual Texas Night Sky Festival®. The main event takes place on March 18th from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Dripping Springs Ranch Park at 1042 Event Center Drive. The center is located 1.7 miles north of Dripping Springs off RR 12, across from the DS Elementary School.

We have volunteer opportunities on Feb 26th, March 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th.
This year we are using SignUp.com which is the leading online sign up and reminder tool to organize the sign up of our volunteers for the TNSFestival.

Here's how it works in 3 easy steps:

1) Click this link to see our SignUp on SignUp.com: http://signup.com/go/PKU8DD

2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.

3) Sign up! It's easy! You will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com. (Note: SignUp.com does not share your email address with anyone).

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your shift so you can check-in at the registration desk in the main entrance to the event center and receive instructions for your volunteer assignment. Please wear your HCMN name tag.

A limited number of the volunteer jobs require that you be trained in advance. Edu Booth Worker’s training will be organized by Lin Weber and the Solar System Walk volunteer’s training will be organized by Amy Jackson. If you sign up for either of these you will be contacted by the trainer with training options

Since our chapter is a co-host of the event again this year, please plan to help us with a high level of participation and a strong showing of support. This volunteer SignUpwill be available for other groups as well. So, if you want to take advantage of the volunteer opportunities, please do so as soon as possible.
